Begin at the Muncie Central Fieldhouse parking lot and proceed South on Walnut Street, East on Charles, North on Mulberry, West on Seymour and returning North on Walnut Street to the Fieldhouse parking lot.

It’s easy to be Green this St. Patrick’s Day in Muncie, when musicians from AMERICA’S HOMETOWN BAND create the traditional Irish revelry mood with music. This annual celebration at Vera Mae’s Bistro, 209 S. Walnut St., in downtown Muncie, occurs on Friday evening, March 17, 2017.  

 For the dinner hours from 6:30 to 8 pm --  a roster of small ensembles of AHB performers recreate favorite melodies and memories from the Emerald Isle. Flutes, clarinets, trombones, a jazz combo, and a Little Green Band are set to entertain diners.

 Special Irish menu items are available for this night at Vera Mae’s and reservations are required for this event. Cover charge is $5. Visit veramaes.com, or call the restaurant at 765-747-4941.

☘️ Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an exciting parade through the streets of DWNTWN! ☘️ 

The Parade will begin at Muncie City Hall, travel South on Walnut Street to Charles Street, and return along Mulberry Street. Parade attendees are asked to line up on Walnut Street between Wysor and Charles Streets, and on Charles Street from Walnut to Mulberry Streets. No candy will be thrown until parade entries reach Wysor Street. 🍬

Parade line-up for participants will begin at 4:30 pm at Muncie City Hall parking lot. Parade sign in and entrance will be from Walnut Street entrance.
