PigPen Theatre Co. began creating their unique brand of music, film, and theatre as freshmen at Carnegie Mellon University in 2007. Their debut indie-folk album, “Bremen”, was named #10 album of the year in The Huffington Post’s 2012 Grammy preview. Their follow up EP, “The Way I’m Running”, was premiered by American Songwriter and released on October 8th, 2013. Their sophomore album is slated for release in the summer of 2015.

Ages: All ages 5-10pm, 21+ after The 2015 lineupFor its ninth year, some of the best homegrown local and regional talent will once again come together for one epic day of live music called Muncie MusicFest on Saturday, October 10th.
From 5pm to 10pm, the festival will pack all three floors of the beautiful Cornerstone Center for the Arts with six all-ages stages and over 30 bands. After 10pm, fine drinking establishments throughout Muncie will take over and host an additional ten bands for music lovers 21 and over. The best part? All of the concerts at all participating locations will be absolutely free to attend, presented as a gift to the community.
Whether you prefer rock, folk, hip-hop, electronica, heavy metal, punk, or bluegrass, you’ll find it at Muncie MusicFest, along with hours of opportunities to explore, discover, and find new favorites among the dozens of bands who will be performing. Cash bars will be available at Cornerstone to patrons 21 and over, and food trucks will be on site to help fuel the party until 10pm. Afterward, Be Here Now, The Acoustic Room, The Ballroom, and The Fickle Peach will keep the festival going with their own free concerts.
Muncie MusicFest 2015 has been made possible with funding from the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County and the Ball Brothers Foundation, and through the efforts of the Full Circle Arts Co-op and Cornerstone Center for the Arts. Additional support has been provided by WLBC, MAX, Sight and Sound Music Center, and Abercrombie Ink.

You can almost smell the fresh-cut pine logs and the sweat of lumberjacks as you watch them jiving to a traditional folk soundtrack. The young circus troupe hails from a small town called Saint-Alphonse-Rodriguez and they have clearly drawn upon their country roots. The artists preform incredible feats of aerial acrobatics that are directly inspired by the natural raw materials of the forest and the equipment used on the farm.

The outstanding ensemble’s repertoire ranges from folk music to arrangements of rock songs and continues to astound audiences around the world.

Cost: $5 cover charge AHB's Little Green Band Entertains St. Patrick's Day diners at Vera Mae's BistroIt’s easy to be Green this St. Patrick’s Day in Muncie, when musicians from AMERICA’S HOMETOWN BAND create the traditional Irish revelry mood with music. This annual celebration at Vera Mae’s Bistro, 209 S. Walnut St., in downtown Muncie, occurs on Friday evening, March 17, 2017.
For the dinner hours from 6:30 to 8 pm -- a roster of small ensembles of AHB performers recreate favorite melodies and memories from the Emerald Isle. Flutes, clarinets, trombones, a jazz combo, and a Little Green Band are set to entertain diners.

The party will take place in the streets of downtown Muncie on Saturday, March 25th, from 6 p.m. to 2a.m. Locals, visitors and students ages 21 and older are welcome to join in the New Orleans-style festivities!
This year offers a musical line up that is not to be missed. The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band will headline the BudLight Stage. Jennie Devoe, Mike Martin and the Beautiful Mess, Losing September, Glostick Willy and The Bathsalt Zombies will round out this eclectic stage. Something for everyone!
The ever popular mechanical bull and the Budweiser go-go cage are back! Other active entertainment includes: Oxygen Bars, Hippo Chowdown, Giant Twister Board, Dizzy X, Vortex, Bouncing Ponies and Track.
Our two giant heated tents will house the Illuminate EDM dance party and The Fabulous Funcie Femmes and Friends Burlesque Show.
Party Headphones brings a "Silent Disco" for a new kind of fun! You are handed a pair of headphones and what appeared to be a crowd dancing to silence, becomes a full sensory audio experience!
Inside The Mark III Taproom will be the hosts for fabulous Drag Shows and Male Go-Go Dancers.
Multiple outdoor bars and food vendors will keep the libations flowing and munchies available throughout the night.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate.
The MITS trolley and buses will provide a safe ride home, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. with routes to the Ball State campus and Lyndenbrook area hotels.

Poley Lafarge, who drew the biggest crowd in the Muncie Three Trails Music Series' history last year, will return to our stage at Canan Commons in 2017 on Saturday, September 23 for another FREE show. Mr. Lafarge records for the leading American roots music label Rounder Records, and he is a two-time winner of Americana Album of the Year. His music is an ecletic mix of early jazz, hot swing, ragtime, country blues, folk, and Americana.
