    BoomBox consists of two versatile producers, DJs, songwriters, multi-instrumentalists and longtime friends Russ Randolph and Zion Rock Godchaux. Together they develop an electronic blend of vintage Rock and Blues made to move dance floors while incorporating their signature Backbeat, Psychedelia and Funky House sounds. Applying a multi-track platform, they are free to create their hybrid style on the fly with a rhythm that moves fans and opens them up to Godchaux and Randolph’s overall vision. Derived from the rich musical history of Muscle Shoals, AL, to the psychedelic rock and underground electronic scenes of the west coast, their unique approach can only be achieved by the blending of sound and culture.BoomBox’s first release, Visions of Backbeat, contained the breakout song "Stereo" that built the foundation for their rapidly growing fan base. After years of steady touring and honing their sound, they released their sophomore effort, downriverelectric, and was hailed by critics as a progressive follow up effort. BoomBox are continuously working on new releases, using a blend of programming and live instrumentation with both members on drums, Randolph on keys, and Godchaux on guitar, bass and vocals.Each live show is unique to the venue and the crowd, who are the driving force of the rhythmic BoomBox experience. “It’s all natural, it’s all in real time, and that’s why it’s Rock ‘n’ Roll”, says Godchaux. Traditional set lists are never created prior to shows, instead, BoomBox chooses the music based on the atmosphere, to create a one-of-a-kind experience for fans.     An amazing night! This trio of the midwest hottest electronically infused bands to Muncie, IN! 

    ZOOGMA combines the sonic diversity and precision of a DJ with the excitement and immediacy of a four piece rock group. Known for their energetic performances and retina pleasing light show, the band consistently dishes out heavy-weight beat-driven dance parties across the nation. Sets are kinetic, combining live improvisation with carefully crafted beats and melodic textures.

    With the release of their debut a
    lbum, Recreational Vehicles, along with a relentless tour schedule, the four members have already added their unique voice to the live electronic-rock scene. Evolving in Oxford, MS, Zoogma’s sound can be described as an eclectic fusion of Electronica, Rock, and Hip-Hop. This blend of genres results in a musical experience that appeals to a range of audiences, with a sound that is refreshingly original yet steeped in the dance music tradition.


    EUMATIK is a living, trance-inducing, funk-blasting, dance mechanism that stimulates the mind by being harmonically innovative and experimental. What makes their approach to music so interesting is their ability to allure the listener with catchy hooks, slowly leading them outside their accustomed electronic musical boundaries Fusing a diverse variety of musical techniques that ranging from jazz theory to 18th century counterpoint, lengthy sections of improvisation make every live show unique. Eumatik brings elements of hip hop, funk, trance, jazz, dubstep and disco and mixes them with a mix of vintage keyboards and ultra-modern sound design
    As you hear the UFO sounds summoning up a twist-bopping, trance-inducing, disco-fever you know it's time for Eumatik. 

    MAGNETIC is rich with stereo soundscapes, bumping grooves, tight bass and sweet synthesizers. Deeply composed and highly versatile, tempos move through Dubstep, Glitch-Hop, Breakbeat and Electro House.From carefree to complex these orchestrated tracks give way to live improvisation.

    "ALL THINGS MADE NEW-(JAM) Glowfriends, a shoegazing 6-piece from Kalamazoo, Michigan have released their 6th record. They might be the only band in history that is comprised of 3 couples. The core of the band is siblings April and Mark Morris. Mark’s wife Holly plays bass/vibes while April’s husband, Adam Zimont, plays guitar and that leaves the excellently-named JW and Jenn Hendrix on drums and vibes/glockenspiel respectively. The thing about their records, and I’ve heard (and enjoyed) all of them, is that each new one has been a little better than the one before it. After all, that’s what most bands are trying to do, right? On ALL THINGS MADE NEW this dream pop outfit has raised the bar and written their best batch of songs yet. The vocals between main vocalist April Zimont and her brother, Mark Morris are as confident as they are compelling and the swirling, 2-guitar lineup adds to the proceedings. A few of my favorite tunes on this record are the smooth opener “Wait for the Waves”, the haunting/driving “Explain Away”, the fuzzy “Jr. Mint”, the jangly “Through the Heart” and at least a few others. -DAGGER MAGAZINE

    Ifdakar jam their way through a unique blend of funk, jazz, electronica, reggae, and rock music.

    Ifdakar's pursuit of musical growth and experimental improvisation create an experience not to be forgotten. Hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, this five piece band has garnered recognition for their live performances, where the band channels elements of psychedelic rock, funk, jazz, and electronica. The result is a mind bending, dance infused, pedal to the metal sound that it is unmistakably their
    own.

    From songs that are tragic, to songs that transcend, Ifdakar showcases an array of improvisational jamming and elaborately structured pieces that are steeped in influences such as Phish, Pink Floyd, Les Claypool, Lotus, STS9 and many others. This spectrum allows for dense musical freedom, to tension-and-release madness.

    While relentlessly working on every aspect of the band, Ifdakar has been fortunate enough to open for such scene luminaries as Ozric Tentacles, EOTO, Xavier Rudd, Kim Manning of Parliament Funkadelic, Willie Waldman, Steve Molitz of Particle and more.

    As Ifdakar continues to climb the ranks of the Midwest scene, their popularity has started to snowball. Reaching capacity at marquee club shows regularly, the band has begun to make the jump to theaters, picking up numerous new fans along the way.

    Spankalicious is BOUNCE! Kevin Moore (aka: Spankalicious) recently moved his home base from St. Louis, Missouri to Cincinnati, Ohio where he is holding down a new residency while gearing up for a very fun filled 2012!

    In 2011 Spank played 100+ shows, traveling over 90,000 miles, meeting AMAZING people while attempting to spread a message of higher awareness among the people. From sunrise sets in the French Quarter of New Orleans to the 4:20 set at Wakarusa 2011, and many many places in between Spanky has constantly been rocking parties at every stop. Playing alongside every major cutting edge act in livetronica, dubstep, and edm as well as many major festival appearances including Wakarusa, SummerCamp, Sonic Bloom, Bassnectar's First Bass Center, Camp Euforia, and is already slated to take the stage at this year's SummerCamp Music Festival!

Turtlematt a Indianapolis native has banged the beats in Chicago, Detroit (Shazzzam 4 & 6) , Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Louisville, Camp Zoe(UGS), Wisconsin, St.louis, Austin, TX, West Virginia, Baltimore, and Kansas City. Joining the Spoololife promotion team in 2005, Turtlematt has learned from the regions best developers, coordinators, performers, and engineers, earning his place as Spoololife event coordinator 2007. Now has his First Residents at Doc's Music Hall Downtown Muncie, IN every Friday djing in between acts and/or opening/closing out the night.
